Dr. Stephen Hwande, a former PDP governorship aspirant who left the party after it was clear the party had concluded to make Incumbent Governor, Samuel Ortom it party candidate ahead ofthe 2019 polls have been mad the candidate of the Social Democratic Party after Hingah Biem name was removed, according to an unconfirmed report by the Nigerian Concord.
Hwande, who left his former party as a result of the highhandedness and insincerity of its leaders both in Benue and Abuja, will be released tomorrow by the INEC as the flag bearer of the SDP.
He is to replaced Mr. Hingah Biem, the former candidate of the party whose name was dropped at the beginning of this week.

With this new arrangement, Hwande of the SDP will be facing Mr. Samuel Ortom of the PDP and Barrister Emmanuel Jime of the APC.
Sources within the SDP said that Hwande was chosen to replace Biem as a result of his very rich and outstanding blueprint which is believed is capable of liberating the state within his first six months in office.
They however maintained that Biem was dropped as a result of his lack of blueprint as well as the EFCC corruption charges against him.
All efforts to speak with both Hwande and Biem on this development proved abortive as their phones were switched off as at the time of filing this report.
