BREAKING: President Ali Bongo Odimba of Gabon Removed By Military coup

Ali Bongo Odimba has been ousted as President of the oil-rich Gabon as the coutry’s military seizes power where the ailing leader’s family has ruled for 50 years.

According to the Soldiers,they launched a coup “to restore democracy” in the west African country.

They took control of the national radio station at 04:00 local time (03:00 GMT) to read a short statement announcing a “National Restoration Council”.
