On Monday, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State raised an alarm over possible threats to his life accusing the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led Federal Government for planning to eliminate him.
The governor also asked the people to hold the Federal Government responsible if anything “untoward” happens to him in the next few days.
Ortom said this while addressing journalists at the Benue State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
He accused the federal government of chasing him around since he dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP a few months ago.
“If I die today, the federal government should be held responsible,” he said.
