BREAKING: Unknown gunmen attack INEC Vehicle carrying Election Material In Benue State


InecPandemonium in Benue state  as some unidentified gunmen attacks a vehicle belonging to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Benue State which was carrying some materials ahead of the Saturday’s election.


Vanguard reports that, the attackers were all dressed in military uniforms.

The vehicle was said to be conveying non-sensitive election materials to one of the LGAs in the state.

Reacting to the news, the State INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda  while addressing the press he said, the vehicle was carrying non-sensitive materials to Logo area of the state when it was attacked.

In his words, Nentawe said; “This is true. Recently, our vehicle which was conveying non sensitive materials was attacked along Logo area by people in military uniform.”
