JUST IN: Emmanuel Jime reacts as Gunmen Kills APC chairman in Benue State

Jime and All Progressives CongressBoniface Okloho, the All Progressives Congress chairman have been reportedly killed by some unknown gunmen in Ohimin Local Government area of Benue state, DAILY POST reports.

According to reports ,Mr Okoloho was shot and killed by some unidentified gunmen who ambudamb hin as he was coming back home from a party  function.

The All Progressives Congress Governorship (APC) candidate in Benue State, Hon. Emmanuel Jime, who reacted to the sad news strongly condemned the assassination of the party stalwart and called on the security operatives to do the needful and arrest the assiliants.

Jime, expressed deep sorrow over the gruesome murder of the late party chieftain and also sued for peace and brotherliness in the politics of the state.

In his words he said;

“I condemn in very strong terms, this unnecessary politics of violence and bloodshed, that has claimed the life of Mr. Okloho, our beloved brother and staunch member of our great party in Ohimini.

“Mr. Okoloho was one of the very committed leaders of our party in Zone C and we regret that he lost his life in such a horrible circumstance, in the service of his state and his party. May his gentle soul rest in peace,” he stated.
