BREAKING: Prince Solomon Wombo Escapes Assassination! Prince Solomon Wombo’s Makurdi Residence was today attacked by some suspected armed men.

According to a Facebook user Gabriel Tyover, who posted the news, he claimed the well armed men numbering about six attacked his house but luckily he had traveled out of town. Read his report below;

Information reaching me has confirmed that Armed men believed to be assassins attacked the Makurdi residence of Prince Solomon Wombo this Night.

The gunmen numbering six (6) in number all armed with AK47 Riffles cut the barbed wire and climbed the fence to access the house, when the gate man refused to grant them access into the compound.

However they did not meet the lucky Prince Wombo who traveled to his village in katsina-ala Local Government in the afternoon for family meeting.

The men who couldn’t have access to the house through the security doors had to forcefully opened the windows and cut the burglary proof of the masters bedroom where they gained entrance to the house.

Hon. Wombo who gave the vivid account of the unfortunate situation, stated that it could be possible that after the gunmen had broke into other rooms of the house but didn’t see anyone, they opened boxes, cabinets, wardrobes and drawers and spilled the contents on the floor without carrying anything away.

According to Wombo who return home following a distress call he received from his gate man who the gunmen bundled up with rope, wondered how Laptop, Ipads, table top computer and other electronic gadgets in the house were not touched, with musical sets and brand new clothing materials all left untouched if the mission of the gunmen was not to take his life.

Neighbours who peeped through their windows to watch said they saw the gun men stationed at different points round the house, during the time of the operation.

The matter has been reported to the police for further investigation.
