BIRS Chairman, Andrew Ayabam Issues Ultimatum To Local Government Chairmen

Read below his PRESS RELEASE;

The Ag. Chairman Benue State Internal Revenue Service Mr. Andrew Ayabam has requested that all Local Government Caretaker Chairmen should remit to BIRS, Pay As You Earn (PAYE) of their staff for the month of May 2019 within the next 7 working days.
The deductions must be done correctly and remitted to the revenue account as required by the Personal Income Tax Act.
The statement added that any defaulting local government Caretaker Chairman will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

Payment can be made to the BIRS e-bills platform in any of the licensed commercial banks in the state.
